Tony is the Senior Pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Bowie, Texas. He and his wife, Terrie have three children: Jeremy, Heather and Jordan. They also have 14 grandchildren. Tony has been in ministry for over 40 years now. Tony attended M.B. Smiley High School and graduated from Kentshire Christian School in Houston. He is a graduate of Criswell College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (Cum Laude) and holds the Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from the Luther Rice Baptist Theological Seminary. He also holds the Master of Arts in Theology (High Distinction) from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and the DMin in Expository Preaching from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the former pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in both Cuero and Dayton, Texas. He has served in many denominational areas on both the local and state level (former trustee of Criswell College - 4 yrs as Chairman of the Board) on behalf of the SBTC- Southern Baptist of Texas Convention and is the past Moderator for the Harvest Baptist Association. Evangelical Theological Society, the Evangelical Homiletics Society, and serves as Executive Director of Jeremiah 20:9 Ministries of Bowie. Tony enjoys family, friends, hunting, fishing and playing mandolin and singing. Tony is a faithful supporter of the SBC (Southern Baptist Convention) and holds to the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.
