Dr. Scott Bridger

Dr. Scott Bridger is currently the Associate Professor of
Global Studies & World Religions at Criswell College, Dallas, Texas. He was
the Bill and Connie Jenkins Assistant Professor of World Religions &
Islamic Studies and Director of the Jenkins Center for the Christian
Understanding of Islam at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary,
Louisville, Kentucky. He has also taught at Spurgeon’s College (London, England),
Nazareth Evangelical Theological Seminary (Nazareth, Israel) and Trinity
International University (Deerfield, Illinois) where he was graduate assistant
for Dr. John Feinberg.
He holds a B.A. (Psychology) University of Tennessee (magna cum laude), M.A. (Intercultural Studies) College at Southeastern, M.A. (Christian Education) Southeastern Seminary, Th.M. (Systematic Theology) Trinity International University, M.A. (Arabic Language, Literature and Islamic Studies) University of Haifa and the Ph.D., Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. His greatest claim to fame is his family. Scott met his wife, Miriam, in Jerusalem on Christmas Eve, 1998. They have five children, three of whom were born in Haifa, Israel. Scott spent 12 years studying, living, and working in various countries of the Middle East. |
